
Elan Baret is the founder of the law firm. He has over two decades of experience as a criminal defense and immigration attorney. He has established himself as a prominent figure in the legal community and handled thousands of cases all over the United States both in state and federal level.
Since 1999, Mr. Baret has been dedicated to the practice of law, holding memberships with the Florida and New York State Bars, as well as the Israeli Bar. He is also a Board-Certified Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law and a member of the American Immigration Law Association.
Mr. Baret is admitted to practice before the United States Federal Court for the Southern and Northern District in Florida and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Baret holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B) from Manchester University of England and a Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.) from St. Thomas University. Mr. Baret proudly served the United States

Andrea A. Gonzalez-Osio is a dedicated attorney with a rich personal and professional journey. She earned her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas, Venezuela. After immigrating to the United States, her passion for helping others navigate the complexities of immigration law was sparked by her own experience as an immigrant.
To further her legal expertise, she earned her Master of Laws (LLM) from Florida International University College of Law and subsequently obtained her bar license from the state of New York.
Today, Andrea focuses her practice on all areas of immigration law, with a strong emphasis on business and family-based immigration. She represents clients in matters before both USCIS and Immigration Court, ensuring comprehensive support through every stage of the immigration process. In addition to her immigration work, she also handles trademark and business law matters, helping clients protect their intellectual property and build strong legal foundations for their businesses.
As someone who has personally experienced the challenges of immigration, Andrea brings both legal knowledge and empathy to her clients, understanding their struggles and guiding them with care through every step of the process.

Michelle Acuna has been a Senior Paralegal for Baret Law Group since 2019. Michelle came to the United States at the young age of 9 from Colombia. She has a keen understanding of the immigration process having been through it herself. She attended Florida State University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in American Studies. Michelle has over 10 years of experience in full-service immigration matters including business and family based. Her experience comprises working on business immigration with corporate clients in the IT, Finance, entertainment, sports, and manufacturing industries, and investor visas. Michelle is a native Spanish speaker who has lived abroad teaching English as a Second Language. Michelle is actively involved in her community and is currently the Vice Chair of the City of Pembroke Pines Diversity & Heritage Advisory Board Committee.
Chrystèle An’Yanissa Garnier was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She began her career in Immigration immediately after completing her Business Administration studies in 2015. Starting as an intern at the U.S. Embassy in Haiti, she worked closely with foreign diplomats and Department of State officers, guiding applicants through visa and immigration procedures.
Chrystele found immense satisfaction in assisting applicants, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds with limited opportunities in their home country, to reunite with their loved ones in the United States, offering them a chance to start a new life, and build a better future.
After immigrating to the U.S., finding her ideal job was a challenging journey until she joined Baret Law Group, where she finally felt she belonged and could apply her immigration expertise to serve diverse communities, including Israeli, Canadian, French, and Latin Caribbean nationals.
As a French-Haitian Creole Paralegal, her focus primarily revolves around cases involving Adjustment of Status, Asylum, and Humanitarian Parole. Born in Israel and a proud veteran of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Hila Baldwin brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role as Accounting Manager. Since moving to the United States in 1996, Hila has amassed over 25 years of expertise in office management, personal assistance, and accounting.
